    01.     No poking for replies under any circumstances. I do keep trackers so I am aware of who to reply to. I am also a self paced writer so it often depends on my muse and mood, resulting in often sporadic replies. No need to match with my energy or anything like that, but if you do have a problem with my pacing, then it is best we just don’t roleplay with each other at all.    02.     Don’t godmod me. If there are any changes to the plot (retconning, my character as a plot device, etc.) please consult me beforehand or as we go along. While I do appreciate detailed plots at times, it is best you do not try to dictate what my character would do or not do (or to even suggest unsolicited changes onto my character as well), as that is for me to decide how they act out in a certain scenario.    03.     My preference for role playing skews heavily towards rooms. Wall is only meant for ooc updates and such. No need to use brackets around me in my pm’s, as I don’t thread in them and are solely intended for plotting. Although if there are cases where the plot is too mature/rated for rooms, we can set up a group private pm to thread.

    04.     Regarding mature plots, the most I could go in rooms is implied sexual content. Anything 18+ or explicit would go in group dm’s if we were to hypothetically thread. However, it is rare I would find myself doing this unless it is for a certain romance connection or it is with a user I am comfortable with. Otherwise, I do not entertain smut at all, especially if it does not fit the plot.    05.     I am pretty flexible when it comes to rping, as in, I don’t have any strict preferences for genres, as long as it’s something I can write and I can see foster character development. However, I find myself partial to angst and drama for the most part. I do not mind more comedic (or “crack”) elements in plots for some relief, when I find my characters to be in too much serious stuff.    06.     Please, please do not get too offended if I do reply to others before I get to your replies or dm’s. If I do have a particular order for replying at the time, it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with how I control my muse. Just because I am active in chat does not mean I will get to your reply quicker; I am usually there to chill and banter with others about our characters.

The winding path that was his life started at Eureka, California. A seaport city with a complicated history, much like the one Dongsu had himself. Born on March 30th, 1997, he was the eldest son of two parents working in the funeral industry complex, of relatively lower-middle class income. He didn’t have to struggle for much, necessities wise. But the fumes of death mingling with the salted scent of the sea nearby became hard to bear and was overwhelming for his young self. Despite living with the concept of death, in the midst of his current life, he was all very confused. Furthermore, clients would often approach him with their queries and even worse, talk down on him as if he was born yesterday. It was frustrating to his wit’s end, but he dealt with it all with a polite demeanor, feigning the knowledge he didn’t have through mere mimicry from his father, a funeral director and owner of the home. If only someone had explained the whole ordeal to him, rather than him sighting everything at a whim. When he was a teenager, he became more inquisitive and curious of the world around him. He was the model student in his high school, known for his academic achievements (being on the honor roll like it was nothing) and for being the figure that everyone came to for advice. However, there are subjects he had to tiptoe… or keep concealed and shut. Not the naïve child he once was, he became the teenager who came to know too much.( tw: mention of death, suicide )
On September 28th, 2014, his girlfriend, Alice, passed away. Her lifeless body was seen hanging off a tree. The speculated cause of death was through suicide. but Dongsu believed there was foul play involved. There had to be an external force involved, she could not have possibly done this selfish act. Especially one that broke his heart into many pieces. This particular incident triggered his morbid curiosity around death and the amount of research he did that would cause officers to utter explicatives under their breath.
He still managed to breeze through his later years of high school, though not with the bright and inquisitive spirit he once had. During the interim of college and high school, he wasted away many days slumped in the confines of his room, burrowing his face against his pillows. The college years spent in Cal Poly Humboldt were all a blur til he turned the age of 24. A lingering sense of melancholy followed him wherever he went, but at least he finally felt like an adult. The numerous internships and odd jobs he did felt worth it to become a PR manager. The job may have been confusing to others, but it thrusted him into a world outside of his small town. And also to clean up other people’s messes, as well as companies and various organizations. But instead of meeting the end of the road, he was met with roads of different possibilities. He ended up choosing the one that led him to IOU.
